The nearest airport is Lilabari Airport (in Assam), about 100 km from Ziro.
From Lilabari, hire a taxi to Ziro (₹5,000–₹7,000 for a private cab).

The better option is to fly to Guwahati (GAU) or Dibrugarh (DIB), which have more flight options.

By Train

The nearest railway station is Naharlagun (100 km from Ziro) or North Lakhimpur (120 km from Ziro).
From either station, you can take a cab or shared sumo to Ziro.

By Road

From Guwahati, Itanagar, or Dibrugarh, you can take a shared sumo (₹700–₹1,000 per person) or a private taxi.
The journey is long (8–10 hours) but incredibly scenic, passing through dense forests, bamboo groves, and winding mountain roads.

Permit Requirement:

Indian tourists need an Inner Line Permit (ILP) to enter Arunachal Pradesh. You can apply online.
Foreign tourists need a Protected Area Permit (PAP).
